Are you interested in attending free instructional technology workshops? KU Libraries Instructional Services offers an extensive schedule of workshops on the Lawrence campus to help the members of the KU community gain confidence and skill in computing and using information technology.
Photoshop, Powerpoint, Word and Excel are some of the computing workshop topics. All classes require prerequisites of a minimal level of computer proficiency (http://infotraining.ku.edu/basicskills). If you question your proficiency, it is recommended that you first take the Introduction to Personal Computing class.
Visit this link to see a full workshop schedule. All workshops require registration. You are welcome to register for any workshop that does not have a restriction on it.
Before you can register for a workshop, you must create a KU Online ID. Your KU Online ID cannot be created unless your birth date is in our computer system. If you did not include your birth date with your Osher registration, please call Continuing Education at (785) 864-5823 or toll-free (877) 404-5823. It may take up to a week to add your birth date to the computer system, and you may not be able to register for a workshop immediately.

NOTE: When you go to an instructional technology workshop, you must know your KU Online ID and password in order to participate on a computer.
