Spend a fun, entertaining and informative afternoon with artist Louis Copt. Louis will discuss what inspires him and describe the working life of an artist. He will also paint a watercolor landscape from start to finish. Louis will explain his working methods and talk about the history of painting. He will also share images of his current work as well as images of his famous prairie fire paintings.

Louis Copt has taught at the Lawrence Arts Center for over 14 years and has led travel and painting workshops worldwide. He has also taught at the University of Kansas and participated in a number of mentoring programs. He has been painting full-time since 1986. Louis’ paintings can be seen at www.louiscopt.com.
